LOS ANGELES, CA — Flexa, the leading payments platform for digital assets, today announced the launch of Flexa Mini App Payments, a new capability enabling fast, fraud-free payments at large retailers leveraging the robust mini app ecosystems and search and discovery experiences of Coinbase’s Base App (formerly Coinbase Wallet), World App, and Farcaster.

Built for social discovery and designed for immediacy, Flexa Mini App Payments provide consumers with a seamless way to explore and transact directly with merchants, all within wallet-integrated feeds and curated discovery lists. Whether scrolling through social updates or browsing favorite retailers, users can now complete in-person digital asset payments in just seconds, without ever having to switch apps.

At launch, the new Mini App Payments experience will power digital asset payments acceptance for Chipotle, Regal, and Sheetz, among other longstanding members of Flexa's merchant community. Within each mini app is a self-contained and fully self-custodied in-person QR code payment experience that connects instantly to the built-in wallet of the respective social app, with no cards or other special equipment required.

The new functionality is available to all Flexa-integrated merchants starting today, offering a seamless new channel to reach crypto-native customers with zero exposure to volatility or fraud. Mini App Payments are powered by Flexa’s instant settlement infrastructure. They will launch first on the Base, Ethereum, and Worldchain networks, supporting ETH, WLD, and USDC, as well as a host of Base-native tokens such as Coinbase-wrapped BTC, Coinbase-wrapped DOGE, TOSHI, $ZORA, PROMPT, and MORPHO. Base and Farcaster support for Mini App Payments is available today, with support for World App launching in the coming weeks.
